Now Hiring - Ski & Snowboard School Sales Supervisor in Boise, ID

The Ski & Snowboard School Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of sales associates at the mountain Ski School Sales Office. Responsible for facilitating and expanding lesson sales while promoting the Bogus Basin brand through excellent guest service. Full-time winter seasonal position.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Maintains professional attitude toward guests and staff.
• Resolve guest service issues by clarifying the guest’s complaint; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
• Ability to convey lesson progression/structure to guests.
• Supervises school sales office personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining.
• Stay current on all Ski & Snowboard school products and prices, as well as other guest services provided by other departments.
• Coordinates program registration with the Ski & Snowboard School Director.
• Coordinates daily group and private lesson sign ups with the Ski & Snowboard School Director, Ski School Supervisors, and instructors.
• Coordinates with Rental shop Manager, DTO Sales Manager, and Group Sales Coordinator with regard to guest services.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

• Assist in the creation, maintenance, and distribution of Ski & Snowboard School marketing materials.
• Performs other related tasks as necessary.

• Passionate about Bogus Basin's Mission
• High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
• Supervisory experience in sales, guest service or related field.
• Basic knowledge of skiing and snowboarding
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with computer based or on-line sales.
• Cashiering, data entry, telephone sales, and basic accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of skiing and snowboarding
• Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations.
• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
• Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodations and without injury to incumbent or others.

Working Conditions

• Both indoors and outdoors.
• Employee may be subject to short periods working outdoors ranging from one (1) to two (2) hours or more.
• Position is exposed to inclement weather.

Schedule

• Winter seasonal, full-time hourly position. 9/1/2023 through 4/30/2024.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Schedule will vary based on the needs of the department and operating hours.
